We’ll be joined by seasoned experts from TreeFolks and Festival Beach Food Forest, who will cover topics to ensure your trees are cared for year-round. This workshop is perfect for anyone eager to plant new trees or nurture established native and fruit trees.
We’ll cover a range of topics, including:
- Rooting Through The Seasons- Planting and caring for your native trees throughout the year
- Preparing for Severe Weather- Protecting trees from freezes, storms and drought
- Pruning Practices- When & how to prune for healthy, abundant growth
This workshop is perfect for tree lovers of all skill levels. You’ll have the opportunity to get your hands in the soil by planting and pruning fruit trees, gain actionable tips for your home, garden or food forest, and connect with others passionate about growing and sustaining the urban forest in our community.
