Volunteer Workday at the TreeFolks Nursery

TreeFolks is embarking on a new project that will significantly enhance our mission and allow us to plant more trees!

We are starting our native tree nursery to grow saplings and bigger trees in pots. The success of this project will rely heavily on volunteer involvement during both the construction phase and day-to-day operation. You can help with hoop house and shade structures construction, soil sifting and mixing, plant bands preparation, seed sorting and cleaning, sowing and transplanting, and more.

This is a unique opportunity to learn about the propagation of woody species native to our region while contributing your time and effort to a worthy cause of growing more trees. Please bring a water bottle, dress for working outdoors, and take breaks when necessary!
