All of our volunteers are wonderful, but some of our volunteers are super! These are our Volunteer Supervisors – volunteers who receive extra training and then lead smaller groups of volunteers at our planting events. Interested in becoming a Volunteer Supervisor? Here’s how it works:
Attend a free 2-hour training in either September or January
Attend at least two events between October and March
Be able to arrive 45 minutes early to events.
Be comfortable working with people of all ages and abilities
Agree to a background check
18+ years old
Our next training class will be held on Saturday, September 17 from 10:00-12:00. The class will be held at our office at the Hornsby Bend preserve.
