TreeFolks thanks the offices of Mayor Leffingwell and Council member Randi Shade for honoring Austin’s tree champions. Council member Shade read a proclamation recognizing organizations such as TreeFolks, Austin Parks Foundation, the Urban Forestry Board, Trees for Pease, the Bull Creek Foundation, and others who work together to ensure Austin’s trees continue to be planted, maintained, and appreciated.TreeFolks hosted a reception on the Mayor’s Balcony to honor our retired Executive Director, Scott Harris and to welcome our new Executive Director, April Thomas Rose.
