McKinney Falls Fest – Tree ID & Bug Safari

Join us in celebrating 100 years of Texas State Parks and McKinney Falls State Park’s 47th anniversary!

Come out to the park for a fun day full of guided hikes, guided fishing, live music, food trucks, activity booths, and more! This event will take place around the Visitor Center. Bring a chair or blanket to hang out and enjoy some music, plenty of water and good shoes for hiking, and come celebrate with us! We will be celebrating all things Texas Hill Country – joining us is Austin Wildlife Rescue, the Buffalo Soldiers, TreeFolks, Snakes of Hayes County, Earth Native, Bat Conservation International, and many more! With musical performances by D.J. Smith and the Tone Rangers and country blues singer Alexia Dalton, it will be a fun day in the park!
