TreeFolks is pleased to welcome our newest board member Kimberly Taylor. Kim is the Founder and CEO at Taylor Collective Solutions (TCS), a boutique public relations, development and events firm she founded in 2005. Her experience is vast and diverse, and includes event planning, major donor fundraising, direct response management, lobbying, grant writing, campaigning, fieldwork and communications. Driven by her passion, Kim has championed causes close to her heart, from fighting gun violence to supporting education here at home, and now working to make Central Texas a greener, healthier place.
Kim was born in Texas but raised in Denver, Colorado and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and minor in business from the University of Colorado, Denver. She found her passion for politics and progressive causes while working as a social worker with at-risk adolescents and abused children. After ten years in Washington, D.C., Kim now resides in Austin, Texas with her husband and two children.
“I want my children to grow-up, go away to college and want to come back to Austin because we’ve built an Austin that is vibrant and healthy. TreeFolks is working towards building a greener, healthier Austin for generations of people to enjoy.”
We couldn’t agree more. Glad to have you, Kim!
