There are as many reasons to plant and care for trees as there are, well, trees. Whatever reason brought you to us I'd like to thank you. We receive support from foundations, organizations and agencies but nothing means more to us than the support we receive directly from our community. TreeFolks does urban forestry really, really well. Last planting season our staff of four planted and distributed over 13,000 trees and spoke to over 7,000 people about how to select, plant and care for trees. If you haven't looked at all of our program pages please do. We also do trees efficiently. Less than 8% of our budget goes to administration. A donation to TreeFolks, Inc. goes directly into the growth and care of the urban forest. A donation to TreeFolks also makes a great holiday gift.  For every $20 donated we will send a certificate to your lucky recipient that a tree has been planted in his or her honor in a public place in Central Texas.  Be sure to give us the recipients name and address in the cooments section at checkout or in a separate e-mail to admin@treefolks.org.
