We are excited to welcome a new program manager to the TreeFolks family! Greg Mast grew up in Lake Jackson, Texas amid the towering live oaks and drooping Spanish moss of the coastal bottomlands. From an early age he spent his free time outdoors with growing things, eventually becoming an avid gardener and ardent environmentalist. These interests led him to pursue a career in environmental conservation. His professional experience includes environmental program administration with local government, sustainable agriculture, green building, and stormwater management. He received a B.A. in Environmental Studies and German from Southwestern University, and is currently pursuing a MS in Geography at Texas State University. His academic work is focused on mapping the differing motivations of urban agriculture practitioners. Greg is honored and excited to be working at TreeFolks and looks forward to helping the organization succeed in the months and years to come.
